Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How does a solar water heater work?
A solar water heater converts solar energy into heat to warm up water. When sunlight shines on the collector panel, the cold water inside is heated and then transferred to the storage tank for use.

2. Can it be used during cloudy or rainy weather?
Yes. While heating efficiency may decrease on cloudy days, the system is equipped with an auxiliary heating device that automatically provides additional heat when sunlight is insufficient.

3. What is the lifespan of the collector panel?
Our collector panels are made entirely of stainless steel and are built to last for over 20 years—or even longer. With just a one-time installation cost, you can save on monthly gas or electricity bills. Especially with rising energy prices, the sooner you install, the sooner you start saving!

4. Can I assemble or repair it myself?
Yes! The Viadante solar collector is fully modular, allowing for easy disassembly, assembly, and part replacement. You can handle repairs yourself or send it back to us—we're happy to assist with maintenance and repairs.

5. Is it suitable for all types of water quality?
Absolutely! The Viadante solar collector works with all water types and is pressure-resistant. Best of all, it’s designed to prevent scale buildup, ensuring long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.

6. What is the warranty period?
The solar collector comes with a 10-year warranty—the longest in Taiwan. (Please note: consumable parts are not covered under warranty.)
